The Traveling Wannabes

Orangeville musicians Josh Leitch and Norm Trudeau have been making music together for longer than they can remember. The original, full, band was inspired by the supergroup The Traveling Wilburys. Over the years, they’ve worked their bluesy folk sound into a speakeasy styled, acoustic groove that pairs well with bold reds, crisp whites, or your favourite craft beer and cider.

The Traveling Wannabes enjoy playing covers of well-known artists such as Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Tom Petty, City & Colour and Bobby Bazini combined with up-and-coming singer songwriters. Their unique vocal harmonies make them favourites at any venue.

Lead vocalist Norm Trudeau has been a resident of Orangeville for over 40 years and has a genuine interest in the local music scene. He is Volunteer Coordinator for the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival and enjoys playing and singing around any jam session or campfire.

Guitarist Josh Leitch is a lifetime music student and volunteers as President of the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival and other community sponsored events.

The Traveling Wannabes often share the stage with some of the very best talent Orangeville has to offer.
