The Boathouse Blues Project is a six-piece band from the Barrie/ Innisfil area, specializing in covering Blues classics, Soul, and Funk along with seven original blues songs from their album titled “Songs From the Boathouse “. The band delivers an immersive and energetic performance, engaging audiences wherever they play. The three dynamic lead vocalists Ross Pityk, Roman Chicago, and Pete Fitzgerald deliver their songs with soul and passion. The playful improvisation between band members and the keys, harmonica, saxophone, guitar, bass and drums makes for a unique and memorable Blues experience at every show.
Since 2020, the band has played almost 200 performances across Southern Ontario, including at iconic clubs in Toronto such as Grossman’s Tavern, The Black Swan, and The Rivoli. They have played in the Barrie Blues and Jazz Festival, and are members of the Toronto Blues Society.
